Burn Me
HEAR :  Jethro Tait
I don’t want to run the risk of getting close to you / bless my eyes when I saw you / got the features I’m into / damn my body’s starving / played my mind like a shaper / you looked so good on paper / but I’ve heard stories startin’
It’s not often you hear of music acts out of South Africa, but Jethro Tait was a homegrown hit when he and three other guys made names for themselves on South Africa’s one and only series of The Voice in a boy band called FOUR.

They successfully toured playing covers, but Tait wanted more, he’d started out as a songwriter so left the band and focused on writing songs for other people.
Now it’s his turn in the solo spotlight, and he’s a triple threat - musician, songwriter and singer, and he’s pretty easy on the eye too, so it won’t be long before this guy is a household name.

Tait says ‘Burn Me’ is about a girl who seems perfect on paper but who you’ve heard one too many bad stories about, and rather than risk getting hurt you make the decision to call it off before things go too far” and he pairs up with rapper BigStar Johnson for this infectious tune that you can hear on our Spotify playlist HERE…

We love pretty, and we love easy; and these divine bowls from Japanese store Daiso are both, so they are our favourite item this week!
Made of microwave-safe plastic, they are a joy to eat soup, cereal, stir-fries, dessert, and anything else you can think of from, they’re pure white with a pastel pink blush inside, and like most items in-store, they’re a teeny $2.80 each – so why wouldn’t you?
