How does an Indonesian bloke come to be head chef of a Chinese restaurant, and not just any Chinese restaurant, but Miss Songs; The Ville Resort – Casino’s spectacular destination eatery?
Arie Prabowo’s story is a real cracker – the year was 2000 and Arie arrived in Australia from Java to study commerce.
Like so many students, while Arie was studying in Melbourne he worked in a restaurant kitchen.
He never imagined his career plans would be sidelined let alone abandoned; but after two years working in a Japanese restaurant before moving on to a French restaurant, Arie knew food was his passion, and restaurants his preferred workplace.

Starting off in sketch comedy, Childish Gambino was first spotted by Tina Fey, before becoming a writer for 30 Rock. He then appeared on the cult comedy Community, and released a mixtape under his hip hop name, Childish Gambino, created by an online Wu Tang Clan name generator.
His raps went on to become more serious, the track This is America highlighted gun violence in the U.S. went viral in May, not long after that he released two tracks, Summertime Magic and Feels Like Summer, another social commentary on climate change.
